Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan is a major tourist spot in India. 1) Amer Fort
The spirit of the grand Amer is eternal. Built in marble & red sandstone, the fort is around 11kms from Jaipur. It consists of a number of impressive palaces, gardens, halls and temples. A very eminent attraction here is the evening Sound and light Show, which brings alive the fort’s majestic history. To add to the experience, an elephant ride up the hill to the main doorway is also available.

2) Jaigarh Fort ( Victory Fort)
Located about 15 km from, Jaigarh Fort of Jaipur is one of the most spectacular Forts of India, and a perfect destination for travelers interest in the majestic past of India. Main attraction is the huge canon, which is said to be the world’s largest canon on wheels. Most of the structures belong to Medieval India, which are worth exploring. This fort is at the top while Amer Fort at the bottom. Above all, the fort offers a remarkable view of the city below.

3) Hawa Mahal
Built in the 17th Century by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, this ‘Palace of the Winds’ Winds’ is one of the most renowned tourist attractions of Jaipur. Owning a shape of the crown of Lord Krishna, the structure rises to 5 storeys and is famous for its windows. Interesting fact about its interiors is that there are no stairs that connect the storeys, rather connected with slopes.

4)Nahargarh Fort
Seated in the Aravallis Hills, Nahargarh Fort offers a breathtaking view of the bewitching Pink City. The fort is among the most famous tourist attraction of Rajasthan. The architecture is notable and depicts a mix of India and European architectural style. This is the same fort where ‘Rang de Basanti’ movie was shot. Within the complex, there is a cafeteria and restaurant too.

5) City Palace
One of the best places as a tourist destination, the spectacular City Palace is one of the distinct landmarks of Jaipur. ‘Mubarak Mahal’, ‘Chandra Palace’ and other buildings form a part of the palace compound. Its royal architecture is a blend of Mughal, Rajput and European styles. The palace offers an insight into the rich tradition of a long-gone era.
